If You Fall Correction:

In some of the early printings, the decorative portion of the pattern was omitted from the chart.  
 
The difference line styles used in the diagram are only so you can see where the stitches begin and end. They are not two different colors.
 
The top diagram should be centered at the very top of the pattern. The  second diagram should be centered after the words “be there - to pick me up”
