When stitched on 36-count linen, using one strand of DMC floss over two fabric threads,  the finished design will measure approximately 10.72” h x 10.17” w.  
 
This design was inspired by the Victorian ideal of the tirelessly sacrificing patient wife, depicted in the popular poem Angel in the House by Coventry Patmore, published in 1854.
